About Parents' Guild, Squires, and Arts Krewe
PARENTS' GUILD
The Episcopal Parents' Guild is a volunteer-driven service organization that connects the parents of current Episcopal students to school news, events and each other. We coordinate various events throughout the year including the Back to School Knights, Terrific Teacher Tuesdays, Karnival Knight, and Teacher Appreciation week. All parents of Episcopal students are members of Parents' Guild.
SQUIRES
The Episcopal Squires Club is a parent organization whose mission and purpose is to support and promote the Episcopal School of Baton Rouge Athletic Program and the “Fighting Knight Spirit”. This includes all high school athletic teams, coaches, team managers, team technicians, spirit groups and middle and lower school athletic programs. Squires is responsible for the Game Day Pass which allows entry into all school athletic events; selling ads for the football program, selling PE uniforms and Episcopal gear, senior banners, football program, and hosting tailgates. Squires also financially supports the Squires Wish List. Money raised in the school year through Squires events and merchandise sales funds the wish list items submitted by the athletic director, coaches and spirit groups. These are items that would typically fall outside of their operating budgets. All parents of Episcopal students are members of Squires. ARTS KREWE
The Arts Krewe is Episcopal's parent-run arts booster group. Our mission is to elevate arts engagement, reputation, and support throughout the Episcopal community and the Baton Rouge area. Krewe members provide financial and volunteer support including backstage assistance, concession staffing, coordinating events and fundraisers, providing snacks, and more. We support all of Episcopal's art disciplines: band, choir, dance, theater, and visual arts.
